| About Us
An unloved antique American
"Ogee" wall clock began my pilgrimage restoring
abused and worn out clock dials. I had sent off for a modern
reproduction dial and to say that I was disappointed with what
arrived on my doorstep would be an understatement!. All my life
has been spent painting & drawing at every available
opportunity and I knew that I should be able to do better.

Encouraged by my good friend Ian
Coote of Horo-logical
that I ought to pursue this line of work, I have continued to
paint and restore many more dials since.

What I aim to achieve is a finished
product which has been crafted using traditional methods and
materials wherever possible and importantly at a price which is
easily affordable. So if you have a cherished clock with a dial
that is so badly worn you can't actually tell what the time is
any longer. If you would rather live with it as it is, than have
to put up with an inferior modern replacement or stick on card
dial. Even if the thought that to have the dial professionally
re-painted would be more than the clock is worth. Then get in
touch, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Since I started restoring clock
dials have been asked if I am able to restore other painted
items such as antique telephones & to reproduce the original
manufacturers logos & gilding often found on this type of
antique. This I have done & so if you have a chipped or
damaged item you would like restored then please get in touch we
may well be able to help.
If you are
interested and have some work that needs doing don't hesitate to
contact us.
